Welcome to Colwyn Bay Cricket Club's website. The club was founded in 1923 and started playing at the Penrhyn Avenue ground in Rhos-on-Sea in 1924.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams play in their respective ECB Premier and First Divisions of the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition. Colwyn Bay Cricket Club was assessed as the best ground in the Competition for the third successive year in 2008. Junior sides at under 11, under 13 and under 15 play in the local Eryri leagues.
The club regularly hosts County Cricket and Glamorgan returned in 2008 to play against Middlesex in a four day county match. Glamorgan Dragons also had a memorable win against Leicestershire Foxes on Sunday 10th August scoring 16 runs from the last 3 balls. In 2009 Glamorgan will play Leicestershire CCC in the LV County Championship and the Dragons will play Northants Steelbacks in the last year of the NatWest Pro 40.
