GlamorganCCC v WarwickshireCCC at Colwyn Bay 2018

A thoroughly brilliant 3 days cricket was experienced at Penrhyn Avenue between 29th August and 31st August when we hosted the Specsavers County Championship match between Glamorgan and Warwickshire. After a dismal start in cold cloudy weather on the first morning, the sun shone almost continuously throughout the rest of the match.

Full details of the match can be found on the websites of either county but the highlights were a double century from Ian Bell and a stunning 7/83 off the bowling of Jeetan Patel. Glamorgan failed to overcome the Warwickshire side, losing on the third day by an innings and 35 runs.

We look forward to hosting Glamorgan again next year and the fixture should be announced at the beginning of December.
